‘Star City’ Creators Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert Say Artemis II Has Reignited Excitement for Space Exploration Because ‘It Wasn’t About the Wealthy’: ‘This Is for All of Us’

Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert, the creators of Apple TV’s “Star City” and "For All Mankind” who co-created the show with Ronald D. Moore, have stated that the Artemis II launch has increased excitement for space exploration due to the show's success. The creators, who also co-founded “For All Managers’ ‘For All Male’ and ‘Star City,' also highlighted the history of the Soviet Union as a warning of what can happen if we're not careful. The series, "Star City," follows the space race between the U.S. and Soviet Union, stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Agnes O’Casey, Alice Englert and Solly McLeod. Despite the Russian invasion on Ukraine, they acknowledged it was a "complicated time" to tell a story set in the Soviet Republic.
