San Francisco Democratic Mayor Daniel Lurie's vehicle was blocked by two men in the city's Tenderloin neighborhood on March 5. The attackers were eventually arrested and taken to San Francisco County Jail on numerous charges. The incident occurred after Lurie admitted that San Francisco needs a "reset" in governance. He had proposed several reforms, including accountability for the bureaucracy and ballot ballots.
