Hideo Kojima has shared a graphic on his Instagram account showing that Death Stranding 2 players have travelled further than the Artemis 2 Lunar Flyby Mission in the same time period. The graphic, titled "Sams vs. Artemis 2," shows that between April 1 and April 10, 2026, the mission's Orion spacecraft had travelled 700,237 miles, while in that same period, players from the game had travelled 969,703 miles. The game creator is using this competition to promote his own version of the game.
