Waltz says Trump’s threats against Iranian civilian infrastructure ‘perfectly acceptable’

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, defended President Trump's threats to strike Iranian civilian infrastructure, stating that such strikes would not constitute war crimes as they are not directly involved in hostilities. He also mentioned World War II bombings and other infrastructure in Germany as examples of World War Two. The U.S., which is not party to the International Criminal Court, imposed sanctions on the court last year after it issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
