Contreras homers, Red Sox respond to Cora firing with 5-3 win over Orioles

The Boston Red Sox defeated the Baltimore Orioles 5-3, a response to the club's manager Alex Cora's dismissal following a 10-17 start to the season. Willson Contreras hit his sixth home run of the season and his second in as many games. Other notable contributions were contributions from Ceddanne Rafaela, Marcelo Mayer, and Andruw Monasterio. Connelly Early allowed two runs in 6 2/3, and Aroldis Chapman saved the game with a perfect ninth. The Orioles lost their third series out of four.
