Surprising Findings In LA County Life Expectancy Study: See How Santa Monica Compares

The study, funded by Los Angeles County and conducted by Measure of America, revealed that the average life expectancy for Santa Monica residents is 84.4 years, higher than the average in both LA County and California. The study also revealed that all of the top 10 cities in Southern California were located in California, with Brentwood and Pacific Palisades tied for first at 88 years, Palos Verdes Estates (87 years), Bel Air and Beverly Crest (86.1 years), and Manhattan Beach at 85.4.
