Joann Annannée was a longtime resident of the Prestwick neighborhood in Frankfort, Kentucky, where she and her husband bought their home in 1990 and lived for over three decades. Her daughter, Kathleen, shared her mother's deep impact on the community and shared her experiences with Patch. She would walk her dog around the neighborhood every day and carry treats for every dog in the neighborhood. After her death, many neighbors shared their memories and donated a donation to NAWS Animal Shelter in her honor. Kathleen shared that Joann's love of dogs and dedication to decorative statues still reside in the community.
