Katrina and Kevin Middleton from Scotland sold their home in 2025 to live and work remotely from cruise ships, claiming it's cheaper than owning. The couple, who both enjoy cruising, downsized their home and experienced high monthly costs of over $8,600. They decided to cut back and decided to live remotely, costing them just under $6,000 each month. Despite this, Katrina and Kevin admit to missing some aspects of living on the land, including being close to loved ones and enjoying the food onboard.
