Oscars: Timothée Chalamet’s Best Actor Snub, Ballet-Opera Jokes and Date Night With Kylie Jenner

Timothée Chalamet was nominated for the 2026 Oscars for his role in Josh Safdie's Marty Supreme, but was instead snubbed for Best Actor. The film, which stars Chalamett as Marty Mauser, also featured Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, Fran Drescher, Emory Cohen and Sandra Bernhard. Despite being a frontrunner for the majority of awards and the Golden Globes and Critics, Chalamat did not win the Best Actor award. His comments regarding opera and ballet were met with criticism at the Oscars, with host Conan O'Brien poking fun at the actor in his opening monologue.
