A brief snowfall and slushy road conditions were experienced in Western Washington early Friday morning. The difference between precipitation and rain largely due to small changes in temperature. However, by the afternoon, warmer temperatures are expected to turn most of the precipitation back to rain. The snowfall is expected to fall in some grassy areas or cooler spots, but most should melt quickly as temperatures rise.
