Trump Officials And Faith Leaders To Join Forces For Prayer Event On National Mall

Political leaders, faith leaders, and media personalities are set to speak at a prayer and worship event on the National Mall in celebration of the semiquincentennial anniversary of the United States. The event, Rededicate 250, will be presented by Freedom 250 and will begin on Sunday, May 17 at the National Park. Speakers include Republican Speaker of the House, Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Ambassador and Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley, former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Ben Carson, Medal of Honor recipient for heroism in the Vietnam War, Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady, and founder of Word on Fire Catholic Ministries and Catholic evangelist, Bishop Robert Barron. Other speakers include former Archbishop of New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan and heads of religious denominations and organizations that make up the US. The day will be divided between three pillars: The Miracles that Made Us, The Birth of Faith and Freedom, A Birth of Freedom, an expression of faith and another expression of freedom accompanied by music and testimony.
