Democrats scout Philadelphia for 2028 convention

Democratic Party leaders are visiting Philadelphia to evaluate the city's potential for hosting their national convention in 2028. The visit will include stops at Xfinity Mobile Arena and the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The DNC chairperson, Ken Martin, will also review the logistical and operational aspects of the bid. Other finalist cities include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, and Denver. The selection process is being overseen by Martin and Alex Hornbrook.
