Turkey's Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, has stated that Turkey is working with all parties to end the Iran war and return to negotiations. The country had previously urged Washington and Tehran to reach an agreement over Iran's nuclear program and missile capabilities. The United States and Israel launched strikes against Iran on Saturday, which quickly widened with Tehran striking Gulf states that host U.S. bases and Israel attacking Iranian-backed Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Fidan also revealed that Turkey was in talks with Oman on the matter, as the Gulf nation also works towards the same goal. In his strongest yet opposition to the attacks against Iran, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan called them a "clear violation" of international law.
