SEC names Todd Golden men’s basketball Coach of the Year

The SEC has named Todd Golden its men’s basketball Coach of the Year after he led the No. 4 Gators to an 11-game winning streak. Golden is the third coach in SEC history to achieve 100 wins through his first four seasons. Other notable achievements include a first-team All-SEC selection for small forward Thomas Haugh, center Rueben Chinyelu, power forward Alex Condon, and sixth man Urban Klavžar. The SEC also named SEC Defensive Player and Scholar-Athlete awards.
