The author recently visited Roxie's, a new restaurant from Salt Lick BBQ owner Scott Roberts, to explore the town of Buda, Texas. The restaurant serves up homestyle comfort food, with the pimento cheese ($11.95) and "The Experience" entravene with green beans, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, and biscuits. The author was impressed with the food and new development surrounding Roxie’s. Additionally, the restaurant plans to introduce homestyle lunch specials in the future.
