The San Francisco Giants narrowly miss a potential Cactus League perfect game against the Milwaukee Brewers, but settled for a 7-1 victory at Scottsdale Stadium. The game was held at a casual Cactus L.A. environment, but the team's performance was more engaging than usual in the relaxed, laidback environment. The Giants were one out away from achieving a combined perfect game, but lost the perfect game and no-hitter in a span of two batters. Right-hander Gregory Santos, who hasn't pitched since February 27 due to a personal matter, managed to keep the Brewers off the basepaths through eight innings. Robbie Ray, Carson Seymour, Tristan Beck and Matt Gage were among the players who managed to secure the win.
