This weekend marked the first full missed paycheck for TSA employees since the partial shutdown began. Major airlines including American, Southwest and United have urged Congress to ensure air travel employees are paid during shutdowns. The public is urged to donate grocery store and gas gift cards to TSA employees during the shutdown.
