Stolen election claims reignite in Arizona governor’s race

The Arizona governor's race is being contested by Katie Hobbs and Rep. Andy Biggs, who has questioned the results of the 2020 election that Joe Biden won and was accused of participating in an effort to prevent Congress from certifying Arizona’s presidential election results. Former Republican House Speaker Rusty Bowers testified before Congress that Biggs had asked him to support the decertification of the electors. However, Republican consultant Marcus Dell’Artino suggested that questioning last election results could play a role in the upcoming Republican primary.
