Alameda Co. Supervisors To Vote On Conversion Of FCI Dublin Into ICE Facility

Alameda County Supervisors are proposing a resolution to convert the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Dublin, California, into an ICE facility. This comes amidst rumors that the federal government or contractors are planning to reopen the facility. Despite this, county officials have previously expressed their opposition. The resolution will be presented at the next Board of Supervisors meeting.
