The Obama Foundation has announced that tickets for the Obama Presidential Center will go on sale later in the month, starting for founding members on April 21. Tickets will open to the general public on May 6. The $850 million center will feature a 19-acre campus, a main building and museum, a forum building, media suite, and a 45,000-square-foot multipurpose athletic center. The museum will also offer free admission to Illinois residents with proof of residency starting June 23. The opening ceremony will be televised on June 18 featuring performances from "global icons" and "prominent" leaders.
