A man stole a purse from tourists on Miami Beach during a spring trip. The theft occurred during which the victim, Abigail Bias and Ebony Werner, immediately realized their bag was gone. They called Miami Beach Police but believed it was likely gone for good, so Bias found surveillance cameras pointing in the direction of the crime spot. Mitch Novick, the owner of the Sherbrooke Hotel on Collins Avenue, provided the video and provided it to the victims. Despite their efforts, the tourists managed to get their belongings back. The suspect, Timothy Goldwait, was identified as the thief and is currently in jail.
