'I just acted": San Antonio Man Stops Runaway SUV, Saves Stranger's Life

Rene Villarreal of San Antonio, Texas, stopped an SUV driven by a man suffering from a heart attack on a busy highway near Harry Wurzbach. The driver, identified as Ben, lost control of the vehicle and it veered across lanes of traffic, narrowly avoiding other drivers, and crashing into a concrete barrier. Villalreal placed his truck in front of the runaway SUV and forced the vehicle to stop. The incident was caught on camera and was witnessed by a nurse who performed CPR. The man survived and his family has thanked Villalal for his heroic actions.
