A coalition of 24 states, including Nevada, have filed a lawsuit against President Trump over his executive order attempting to impose federal control over state-run elections and restrict voter eligibility and mail voting. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and is led by Nevada's Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar and Attorney General Aaron D. Ford. The attorneys general argue that the Order would require states to act contrary to their voter roll procedures, vote-by-mail systems, and voter registration laws. The coalition asks the court to prevent the federal government from implementing or enforcing the executive order.
