Huskies to hot rice: Baseball promotions, giveaways at Cleveland-area ballparks in April

The Cleveland-area baseball season began in April with various promotions and giveaways at the Akron RubberDucks, Cleveland Guardians, Lake County Captains, Lake Erie Crushers, and Mahoning Valley Scrappers. These events include Dawg Night, themed nights featuring Labrador Retrievers, and Electric Blue Friday. The home opener for the Cleveland Guardians on Friday, April 3, against the Chicago Cubs is sold out. The Lake County Captain's game will feature fish fry specials and themed entertainment. The "Only in Akron" rebrand series continues with Barberton Fried Chicken & Hot Rice, with the first 1,000 fans receiving a t-shirt commemorating the rebranding.
