macOS 26.4, the latest Mac software update, has added a new ‘Slow Charger’ indicator to help your MacBook charge faster. The new feature will alert users when their MacBook isn't charging fast enough, leading to a solution. This indicator indicates if a charger is not delivering Apple's minimum recommended wattage. To charge more quickly, use a charging solution that provides more power, measured in watts, and the power adapter and charge cable should deliver at least minimum wattage for the best charging experience. If your MacBook is charging slowly, it's time to buy a new charger.
