Former Allegheny County, Pittsburgh EOC manager charged with sexually assaulting child in his care

Henry Caparelli, former Emergency Operations Center Manager for Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh, is accused of sexually assaulting a child who was in his care. The charges stem from multiple counts of aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old, endangering the welfare of children, and two counts of corruption of minors. The victim reportedly kept the allegations in her notes app after a parent discovered them. Capareelli was arrested and arraigned on Monday and is scheduled to appear in court on March 18.
