Minneapolis Madness: Dems Move to Bring Back One of the Grossest Gay Stereotypes in History

The Minneapolis City Council is considering a series of ordinances that would legalize "bathhouses" that have been banned since the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s. These proposals aim to eliminate stigmatizing language and preventative care, but also address the issue of around-the-clock sex. These bathhouses, often of the same-sex variety and usually among men, were used as breeding grounds for sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis, herpes, human papillomavirus, and hepatitises A through C. The bill is part of a campaign by the Democratic Social Security Association (DSA) for Minneapolis, which would also decriminalize drug parapalia and allow homeless people to sleep in cars.
