CAA Wants to Bring More Marketers to Hollywood’s Creative Table

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is working to bring brand marketers into the creative table of Hollywood, collaborating with writers, directors, and talent to create original IP series together. Alanna Strauss, head of content and marketing of CAA’s Entertainment Partnerships team, says brands increasingly want their marketing messages subtly immersed in digital storytelling from the earliest stages of creative development. The 6-episode series Rider Die for Complex NTWRK, a partnership between CAA and Crocs, features celebrities such as Becky G, Zara Larsson, Trisha Paytas, The Kid LAROI, Ziwerekoru “Ziwe” Fumudoh and Tyriq Withers. The collaboration aims to help Crocs generate brand heat beyond its original clog shoe to newer styles like sandals and slippers.
