Jersey Proud: Teen leader turns kindness into community impact

Esmae Keswin, a 17-year-old high school senior from Glen Ridge, is making a difference through kindness and community service. She has written a children's book and founded the teen volunteer group Hands4Hope, raising over $2,700 for children in foster care, and building a Reading Garden at the nonprofit Cooper School in Montclair. Despite maintaining a 4.13 GPA and playing varsity soccer, Keswin's impact is both helping communities and making New Jersey Proud.
