The BBC has confirmed that it was aware of a police investigation into allegations that radio presenter Scott Mills engaged in sexual offenses involving a teenage boy. Despite being questioned in 2018, the BBC hired Mills last year to take over from Zoe Ball on its flagship program "The Breakfast Show". The BBC has terminated Mills' contracts in line with its culture and values. The investigation into the allegations is ongoing, with no arrest or charge being made.
