San Jose: Starbucks closes another downtown coffeehouse

The coffee shop at 150 S. First St., along the light-rail line, has been closed by Starbucks, leaving one of its last remaining locations in downtown San Jose. The move leaves another major downtown shop, the one on Santa. The company plans to close other underperforming stores in the fall of 2025.
