Oil back above $100 as conflicting reports emerge on US-Iran talks

The price of Brent crude oil has risen above $100 a barrel following conflicting reports about potential talks between the US and Iran. This comes after US President Donald Trump delayed threats to attack Iranian power plants if the key Strait of Hormuz shipping route was not reopened. However, Asian stock markets remained relatively stable despite the conflict.
