Corporal Polizzi, a veteran of the United States Army, has been named as the leader of the 2026 Hillsborough Memorial Day Commemoration Program. He served in the military from 2011 to 2019 and was awarded a Sergeant. The event will begin with the Salute to Military Service Breakfast at the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building on May 23, followed by the Memorial Day Parade and ceremony at the Garden of Honor.
