The coworking company Switchyards is expanding to Raleigh, less than a year after opening its first location in Durham. The company, founded in Atlanta, has leased a century-old building, 811 W. Hargett St., formerly home to The Factory, which was previously home to a coworking space that closed in 2023. The move aligns with the growing popularity of coworking spaces for remote workers who prefer to work outside of the house. The club is initially accepting 250 members, with the current price being $129 per month.
