A fight broke out at a softball game between Central East High and Clovis High Schools in Fresno, California. The game was tied at 6-6 in the eighth inning when a girl in black pants confronted a Clovises High player, leading to a physical altercation. Players and parents from both teams were forced to break up the fight. The Central Unified School District is taking the incident seriously and taking appropriate disciplinary measures. Former Central East student-athletes Zeke Leyva and Matthew Sherman believe the incident escalated too far due to the heated rivalry between the two schools.
