Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Toronto Raptors 125-120 in Game 5 of the first-round series, pushing the Raptors to the brink of elimination. Despite trailing by double digits in the first quarter, Cleveland managed to claw back the deficit with an 11-0 bench-led run. This move led to a 28-12 spurt that allowed Cleveland to claim a four-point lead. Despite a two-game lead, Cleveland's coach Kenny Atkinson remained confident and implemented tactical solutions. The Raptors' leading scorer, RJ Barrett, scored a game-high 25 points and Ja’Kobe Walter added 20. Cleveland's James Harden and Evan Mobley scored 23 points, while Dennis Schroder and Mitchell added 19 points each. The team is one win away from advancing to Round Two.
