Eastern Connecticut Trophy Trout Area Among Latest To Be Stocked

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has begun stocking the Shetucket River in Windham, Scotland and Sprague, among other designated state Trophy Trout Areas. The waterways receive a high percentage of larger trout to increase angling opportunities. The spring stocking takes place from March to May.
