Phones are also a significant source of cyberbullying and schoolyard drama, as well as incentivizing misbehavior by recording it and allowing interpersonal conflicts to develop via texts and app messages. These policies have been met with resistance, with students initially frustrated at being forced to take their phones around holidays.
