San Ramon Student Drawing To Be Exhibited At Carnegie Hall

Aditi Ranjan, a student from the Dougherty Valley, California, has won a National Gold Medal in the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Her artwork, "Silent Suffering," is currently being displayed at the San Ramon City Hall for the month of April. The award was given to less than one percent of over 330,000 submissions. The piece depicts a girl being silenced by an unidentified person wearing a snake necklace.
