Taj Mahal, a legendary musician known for his contributions to R&B and blues rock, is returning to Atlanta for the first time. His 2023 album "Savoy" was dedicated to his parents and influenced his career. He co-wrote the title track with Nashville singer Ruby Amanfu and performed with Mahal and Mo' at the Grand Ole Opry last year. His cover of "Statesboro Blues" was covered by the Allman Brothers Band after watching Mahal perform it live. He also collaborated with the Rolling Stones in 1968 for their performance at "The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus," which was shelved for decades due to their rough performances.
