Netanyahu announces negotiations with Lebanon after U.S. pressure

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced direct negotiations with Lebanon, following calls from President Trump and White House envoy Steve Witkoff. The negotiations aim to disarm Hezbollah and establish peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon. However, Iran claims that Lebanon was part of the ceasefire agreement and may abandon peace talks or keep the Strait of Hormuz closed.
