UConn's Geno Auriemma criticized South Carolina's Dawn Staley during their 62-48 loss in the women's Final Four. The Huskies coach accused the officiating crew of being "beating the (expletive) out of our guys" during a live TV interview and then got into an argument with Staley in the final seconds of the game. Despite a physical game, UConn was called for 17 fouls and South Carolina received eight. The heated exchange escalated when Auraemma walked off the court and down the tunnel without shaking hands with the Gamecocks.
