Michelin-honored chef Cyril Lignac opening first Bar des Pres in Manhattan

French chef Cyril Lignac is set to open his first New York restaurant, Bar des Pres, at 345 Park Ave. at East 52nd Street. The restaurant will be one of three "concepts" planned for the 22,000 square feet ground-floor space at street level and will open in 2027. The arrival of the restaurant brings it into the world-class East Side culinary league, alongside other high-end restaurants nearby. The Bar Des Pres menu will combine French and Japanese styles and will be joined by a contemporary French brasserie and an artisanal bakery/cafe.
