Jorge Polanco hits injured list as Mets take another early season blow

The New York Mets have taken another early season loss, with infielder Jorge Polanco placed on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist contusion. This comes after he has been dealing with Achilles bursitis and has missed two games. Manager Carlos Mendoza stated that while there is no timetable for when Polanco will return, his ankle is trending well. The team has been without an outfielder since April 3 due to a calf strain.
