Buffalo Sabres coach on facing Macklin Celebrini: ‘He scares me’

San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini has been praised by opposing coaches in his first two NHL seasons, with Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff expressing his admiration for the 19-year-old's talent and competitiveity. Celebrini, who entered Tuesday fifth in the NHL in scoring with 89 points, had a tournament-leading five goals and finished second among all skaters with 10 points at the Winter Olympics. Goalie Yaroslav Askarov will start for the Sharks against the Sabres, who have won seven straight games and are on the verge of their first playoff appearance since 2011. The Sharks are making a lineup change from Saturday's loss, re-inserting forward Philipp Kurashev into the lineup with Ryan Reaves replacing him.
