Connor Ingram, a former Utah Hockey Club player, has opened up about his journey since leaving Utah and his return to the NHL. He credits a trade and injury to land him back in the NHL, where he is now one of the most important players on the Edmonton Oilers. Ingram had some of the worst numbers in the AHL four months ago and was placed on waivers with the team shortly after he cleared, they retained $800,000 of his salary. Despite living in six different houses in the last year, Ingram is pleased to live in Edmonton, which is the closest NHL city to his hometown of Imperial, Saskatchewan. He enjoys playing alongside top-three, top-five (hockey players) and enjoys facing them regularly.
