Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion driver for Ferrari, has stated that he lost sight of who he was during his first season with the team, but insists he is back and will not repeat this mistake. Hamilton's Ferrari move in 2025 was disappointing, with he failed to live up to expectations and his performance spiralled at the end of that year. Despite this, Hamilton has since returned to form and is reinvigorated for the 2026 campaign. He credits his transformation to a positive attitude and a more natural approach to the team. Hamilton has also made a significant change ahead of the new season, splitting with 2025 race engineer Ricardo Adami and replacing him with Carlo Santi.
