However, making the race competitive in Texas requires significant investment from Democrats, particularly in the 20 media markets where a week of television advertising could cost multiple millions of pounds. Despite this, many party operatives believe that Paatt's ability to turn the race around is limited unless he receives an endorsement from President Donald Trump.
