One of the three men accused in the 2022 murder of 8-year-old P'Aris Moore of Hopewell was found not guilty of downgraded charges. The charges stem from then-18-years-old Rayquan Latrel Harvell, Jamari Antonio Taylor, and Brandon James Warner, both of whom have already been convicted of their crimes. Harvell testified that he was the one driving the car the day Moore was killed and did not know of Taylor and Warner's plan. The agreement to downgrade Harvell's charges was reached during a hearing and resulted in his notability as an accessory in a felony after the fact and making false statements to law enforcement.
