The Cornwall Air Ambulance is urging people to participate in its first Heli Hike, taking place in Bude on 25 April. The event will raise funds for the charity, which turns 40 next year. The 12-mile route will take place at Bude Castle, which represents the average flight time it takes for the service to respond to an incident. The head of fundraising at the organisation, Karen Hurn, encouraged people to sign up.
